This week's blog post will serve more as a reflection, however still fitting in with our recent discussions of talking about brick walls and the struggles we face in life that ultimately make us a stronger person. This week we are going to narrow that focus to school only and answer the question, "Who am I as a learner?" Where do you struggle? What are your hardest subjects? Why do you think that is? Where do you excel? What are your easiest subjects? Why do you think that is? What are your goals for school in 5th grade and beyond? How do you think your education will play a role in your future?
Please answer these questions in a well-orgnized, one-paragraph response. Make sure to check spelling and include correct capitalization and punctuation.
DO NOT FORGET TO PUT YOUR NAME ON YOUR POST!
Happy blogging! :)

The hardiest area for me to learn is in a noisy place because it is always fustrating and confusing when people are loud. The hardiest subject for me to learn is social studies because you have to remember dates and religions. My easiet subject is MATH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! because all you need is to add, subtract, divide and multiply very easy I know. My easiet place to learn is in a quite and calm place. My goals in 5th grade and beyond is to have straight A's. My education will play a role in my future by a successful grades. I struggle in a lot of subjects and I fail sometimes but doesnt mean you have to be the best and smartiest peron in the world. I hope this is a true in the future. odai
As a learner I am successful. Where I struggle at is character. I don't really like working with others and I am not very successful at that but I do try. I am good academicly. My hardest subject is science or social studies. Science is praobly harder for me because I don't really enjoy it so it makes it hard to pay attention same reason for social studies. My exceling subject is math. Some of my goals for 5th grade are becoming a better character and beyond that is to use my life to set good exsamples for others. I think my education in the future will play out to be a huge impackt on my
life and make my life so much easier and successful not to my self but others in my life and family.

My hardest subject is science, because there is a lot of recording. Also, sometimes experiments don't work out right, or we don't understand what happens. We have to write all of the changes that happens. And that can be hard for me, because that is a lot to keep track of. One of the other challenges, tht I struggle with in science, is the groupwork. I work better by myself, even though some people work better in groups. Because if the group doesn't agree, then it creates a problem. Even though science is my hardest subject, I am still good at it. So, when we work in groups, I can't go at my own pace, which sometimes gets me counfused, because I forget things, when my groups go slower than I am used to. But even though science is hard, when I work at it I get good grades. So no matter how hard something is, you can eventually get it!

The hardest subject for me to learn is math. First of all I really don't like math. My mom always tells me that if you don't understand something its going to be hard. I get math in this class because we have a good teacher to explain it, but its the S.A.G.E. math is the one that I don't get. My head explodes when I am trying to learn math there!!!!! This is not my fault though, its my teacher's. She doesn't explain it! (my mom and dad are with me in this) We have pre-algebra packets but we don't go over the questions therefore I don't get the questions, then I miss the questions. This happens in tests too. I am pretty sure that failling is my thing. I don't know what my easiest subject is and I am pretty sure I don't have one because all subjects give me a challenge. I think my education may play a role in my future. I say maybe because I want to get a full ride to college for gymnastics to MU. (Iknow the coach there.) Ihope I'll be able to achive this goal. I know I'll fail on the way, but hey, failling is my thing.

Mt hardest subject is comarts. Becuse i have troble reading. I think mostly on the computer. The computer hurts my eyes. But I like to learn I plan to become a arckolgst. Or a baceball plyer. But most of all my best subject is math.By:Derrick
The hardest place to learn for me is that when there no paceints in for me. It's really hard to concetrate when I have no paceints to do work. The hardest subject is math because I have to learn my fractions and I'm not that good at fractions. My favorite suject is CA arts. I love reading. Books and test are fun because you could use imaganation for books without pictures. I myself fail, but I fail to learn. If I fail I will clean up my mess and retry my mistakes. We all fail but we fail to learn.

My problem is that im to judgemantal.I can not ever keep what im thinking to myself.I always find something I do not like about anyone, but yet again I can always find good in evil.I think too much about what people look like on the outside.I need to realize that even though people might not be beautiful on the outside but maybe there heart is more than beautiful.Thinking good about others is what I need to practice because taking others life into consideration is not the thing that first pops in my head.I will practice really hard on it and that will be the first thought that pops in my head when I think about others. One thing that i am good at is tring my very best to change or learn a life lesson that will guide me through life.
5th grade is fun but it is also very hard because I not that good at fractions or spelling and not very good at sci ether. But the one thing I am very good at is making friends and also making very good blogs."Who am I as a learner?" I think I might be as a learner a hummmmm... I think I might be a book writer or somthing like that. One this that is the easiest thing is !!!!!!!MATH!!!!!!! but fractions are in it Im a little bit good at fractions but I know that it is going to get harder and harder soon we will need to know 4/75 and wow that is going to be a tuff one like Im need to know so we I get ast that I have to say it (SNAP!!) like that fast. That is going to be very hard and when it is that hard it is going to be hard.(you dont have to read this part but you can.) If there is one thing that I really want to be when I grow up I want to be a Bookwriter Because I am very good at writing books and I think it will be fun and I can get a lot of money and make it to were people in Afirica(I am thing I spelled that wrog.) can get the food they need and I will make it were they have clean water and make it to were they get house so they have a roof over there heads and that is what I what to be.
PS: I still am not that good at frations.

I think that all subjects are equally hard because in math, the big numbers kind of get me. In science its hard because it has alot to do with nature and nature is really...big. In reading, well, it seems the easiest to do considering that I like reading. My goal for 5th grade is to learn things and never forget them like over the summer, it really helps to remember things because 5th grade is so fun. The future is looking very good because iv'e learned so much.-Joseph
As a learner I think I am an okay learner.I like my teacherand how she teaches us.She makes us laugh and teaches us.She is the perfect teacher and I think that makes me a better learner.I think better teachers make better lerners.michael
I think the hardest subject for me to learn is science because it talks about things we haven't seen ot done before like space, energy, and electricity. We can't see or feel these things and have to picture this in your mind. Science is chanllenging for me because it is hard to learn about things I can't see or touch.
I like to learn spelling because you can just write the words on a piece of paper and keep practicing. I don't think that is hard because all you have to do is spell.
When I keep failing at something I will try it again. The more you fail the more you practice. For example when I started drawing and it was hard and I got frustrated but I kept trying. I try because I want to be good at art.

My hardest subject is science. It is hard to remember the variables and questions. I think I exel in math. I don't remember the last time I didn't get an A. Math just is not confusing to me. I also really like scocial studies. Education will help me in the future with taxes and bills. Also you can't get a good job with out a good education. My main fifth grade goal is to graduate. Another goal is to get 9 A's. Some future goals are to go to Georgtown University or Missouri. I want to play college basketball and later NBA basketball. AUGGIE!!!

My hardest subject is writing because I struggle in catching up and writing summaries. I fail in my neatness and I am looking forward to changing that. I also hope I can catch up more and do better on summaries. I will try not to fail but that doesn't mean I wont fail on something.
My esiest subject would have to be social studys but math is the one that stumps me every time. I understand adition and subtraction and multiplication and division but I kind of get fractions. i understand math with mrs Scanlon, I just do not understand it in S.A.G.E. I got in S.A.G.E. in 1st grade so I am pretty good at the math we do there but once we started doing 6th-8th grade math, I kind of froze up. she doesn't explain the concept of how to do it. I uderstand it in this class only because she explains it. We also have to subtract and add intergers. She just says one negitive interger plus a negitive interger is a positive. All of us fail, so I guess it is ok as long as you LEARN.

The hardist area for me to learn is in an noisy place because it's hard to concentrate. The hardest subject for me is Math fractions beacause I have to remember the fractions percentage or add and subtract fractions. The easiest place for me to learn is a quite & calm place because I can focus. My 5th grade goals are to get better at Math & learn my fractions by the end of the year.I want this because next year in Middle School I want to know my fractions & get an A+ on every Math test or any test.I hope this will happen someday. My hardest subject is spelling. It's in my jeans.I study and study, but I get to much on my mind and forget them.I take them home to study but I'm just not good.I say in my hed after the test FAIL FAIL FAIL SEISEAD.No one is perfect if they were life wouled be BOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRINGG!KENNA.SNIPES

I learn by listening to teacher’s instructions. Then I have to do the instructions over and over until I understand the assignment. That helps me get the information into my brain. I struggle with spelling. Whenever I put letters together, they don’t actually ever make a word. My hardest subject is communication arts. Although I love stories, I don’t like to write. Whenever I try to write, my spelling is so wrong that I can’t even rewrite what I wrote because I can’t read it. Spelling is my hardest subject because I’m dyslexic. It means that I have to try harder and jump a higher brick wall.
I excel in science because I understand the idea behind testable questions and hypotheses. Science is one of my favorite subjects which makes me eager to learn it. My current goal is to pass fifth grade and move into sixth grade. I want to improve my spelling and math skills (especially multiplication /division facts and fractions). In college, I want to study chemistry. Because I want to be a chemist and a horse trainer, it will be important for me to improve my math. Both chemistry and horse training are science related. I also need to work on my reading so that I can learn more about chemistry and horse training.

I can only get the most work done when there is no talking.Writing is the hardest subject. My easiest subject is math!I am going to go to collage.I am determend.I can do almost any thing.Nick M.#15
As a learner,it's hard for me to work on certain things in certain subjects. For example,I do math very well except for division.I just don't understand it like other people do.But I've learned that not knowing is okay as long as you learn and try.And in Comm.Arts, I'm good at sequencing but not at getting the main idea.I'm not as good in science like I am in Social Studies.I need to work harder at division, science and main idea.I am going to collage and I know I will get these things eventully. - Marla Hughes #13
I like to listen to music while I learn. The hardest thing for me is reading because I'm not very good at it. The easiest thing for me in school is PE. I like to learn sports. I like to do things that are fun like playing games to learn. I am super distractable Mrs. barnett is sitting next to me and I still can't focus. xavier
The hardiest area for me will have to be reading beacause try to read as fast as i can, for like example: I was reading with miss scanlon and i was reading as fast as I can and when I got done and and miss scanlon was so upset. you don't have to read fast as you can like me if you don't want to miss worlds. this is a true story except the example part. Telesa Banks stay cool.
The hardest subject for me is MATH.I don't get it because math and me don't go together so thats why.Everytime we do math I don't get how 1/4 is 20% and how 1/5 is 25% I just don't get it.The easiest subjetct is writing. I like it because you can write what you want to write.- laolyeen alfons
The hardest subject is social studies because once mrs scanlon is writing fast im going slow .And once mrs scanlon is reading i lose track. But auggie is always there to help me and hes smart cool and fun to play at recess. And in math i know some of the equations but i dont know any other equations and then auggie came up to me and said do you need any help with something and i said yes.And when ever im around auggie he just helps me with math social studies and writing. And thats the end of my blog.Matthew
I am a good learner at most stuff like math and spelling. I am not as good at soars or book talks. So that is who I am as a leaner?

I can't work in a cramped small environment becouse im clostifobic.I love math but it's not my BEST subject.i'd say my best subject is science somthing about it clicks for me.I get straight A's.I just get it.But what i don't get is apostifies or subtracting fractions but i just keep on trying and just think to myself soon it will click like science and try not to get frustrated by the time your reading this theses things have probobley clickes already.
